Fullbloods:
A heifer was the first Fullblood Maine Anjou imported into Canada from France. The first bulls imported into Canada were Buret, Berlin and Bysantin.

The Canadian Maine Anjou Association was formed and incorporated in 1970 and Cygne, a Fullblood bull, was the first animal registered. We used Cygne semen for several years in our original breeding program.

 

Rapid Creek Maine Anjou is run on a family farm near Falun in Central Alberta, Canada consisting of:

  • Maine Anjou Cattle (Fullbloods, Reds and Blacks).
  • Breeding Stock (Bulls and Females)
  • 4-H Calves (Steers and Heifers)
